DJ Wildfire started out when he was around 14 years old, back then he used to mix on a pair of belt drive numark turntables. He was influenced early on by the (old skool) Garage scene and DJ’s EZ, Norris ‘Da Boss’ Windross and Pied Piper.
Six months after he had started Djing he entered a DJ competition at a under 18’s event called the Blacktie ball co. To his surprise he ended up winning the DJ competition and becoming a resident DJ for this promotion. Since then DJ Wildfire hasn’t looked back from those humble beginnings and is currently working with Plague and Maxwell D from the Pay As U Go Cartel. DJ Wildfire plays all genres of music, his specialist fields are Grime, UKG and Funky house.
DJ Wildfire’s first pirate radio station was Flare FM. I was on there for a short while before securing a more high profile slot on the ever popular Freeze FM. Whilst on Freeze DJ Wildfire was appearing on a few internet radio stations such as manicfm.com and pyrotechnicradio.co.uk. After a solid stint on Freeze, Wildfire moved onto the Legendry Xtreme FM with Plague.
DJ Wildfire has performed at many promotions such as, The Blacktie Ball Co. which specialized in under 18 events, Nuthingsorted.com, La Cosa Nostra, Club Sidewinder, License 2 Rave, McMahon promotions, Dance 2K to name but a few. Wildfire has also performed out in Ayia Napa (Cyprus) for the last three summers at club Abyss and Ice Club. He currently is a resident DJ at Rococo nightclub every Friday for a promotion called Fame (Exquisite PR).
DJ Wildfire’s ambition is to take his sound and the music he pioneers globally.
